Listen here.

So, I've seen quite a few bumper stickers lately that read:

"I walk my dog and vote."

Well, sure.

I walk my dog and vote too. But I don't really feel like I need a bumper sticker to remind people that I'm a good person, you know?

I just feel like making a bumper sticker that says that sort of defeats the entire purpose of being a good human being in the first place. Or maybe they DON'T walk their dog or vote nearly as often as they should. Thus, they got the bumper sticker to make sure they hold up to their hippy reputation.

I don't know. I do know, however, that it is ridiculous.

Excuse me while I got walk my dog.

BECAUSE DID YOU KNOW I WALK MY DOG? I DON'T LEAVE MY DOG INSIDE ALL DAY! MY DOG EXERCISES! AND EATS ORGANIC FOOD! NO CORN IN MY DOG'S FOOD! I READ CNN TOO! AND I DRINK SKINNY SOY LATTES! AND I AM A GOOD HUMAN BEING! DID YOU KNOW!?

That's sort of how I feel when I see that bumper sticker.

FYI.

OH Utah... must you feature lameness bumper stickers!

My dog is home all day long. And tonight she's getting fed later than sooner. But we cuddled this morning. And when I left her I thanked her for being patient with me.

Doesn't quite have the same ring to it....
