Movies I love.

JLG and I have been discussing what kind of movies we like. She likes Ironman, The Fighter, mystery movies, etc. I do too. In fact, I loved Captain America. And The Fighter! But, what I really like are those slow, make you think movies. Pretty much anything by Focus Feature Films. Somewhere between comedy, drama, and romance. Hard to explain. Oh, and I like war and sports movies too. Goes with the stereotype, what can I say?

Anyway! Saw a flick last night I had to spread the news about:

Beginners.

So. Good!

My favorite characters was the mom and the dog. Obvi.

But I also loved this:

Anna: You can ask me anything you want.
Oliver: Anything? What's there?
Anna: That's a tree. And Cars. Another building like this one. People in the building like us, half of them think it's never going to work out, the other half believe in magic. It's like a war between them.
Oliver: How do you know so much about people?
Anna: Well, you have to learn how to read their faces.


It was perfect. Two thumbs up.
