FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: BACLOR CORPORATION APPOINTS NEWEST
PRESIDENT
Ivy League scholar, and respected manager in the
construction and real estate industry, Harvey Wilson, has been appointed as
Balcor Corporations newest president.
Wilson will be replacing Adam Smith, who has chosen to
retire after being president of Balcor for the past 15 years.
From Illinois, Wilson brings experience to the largest
employer in Cache Valley. For the last seven years Wilson spent his time as the
executive vice president of the Knox Company, a developer of suburban shopping
malls. Wilson was also the chief financial officer of several construction
firms including the Krupp Company, which builds hotels around the globe.
Other experience includes: member, and board member of the National
Accounting Association; the Illinois Business Round Table, an organization of business
executives; the Chicago Sailing Club; and the Chicago Athletic Club. Wilson has
also earned two degrees: a B.A. in accounting from the University of Washington,
and M.B.A. from Stanford University.
Wilson will be moving to Logan with his wife next month
where he will lead the 347 million dollar company. They have two children in college.
Owing a number of office parks across the nation, Balcor
manages 222 other business properties. Balcor Corporation also recently had a
public stock offering by the Dow Jones.

experience newly renovated suites and upgraded complimentary amenities starting
December 1, 2012.
“We
couldn’t be more thrilled with the renovations at Forest Suites,” said General
Manager, Dell Dellinger. “Our already beautiful property is will be more than a

The
new renovations include new tile floors in both the bathrooms and kitchens, new
room furnishings, new décor, and paint. There are also new additions to the
property amenities. Guest can partake in complimentary high-speed Internet; a
hot buffet breakfast, with fresh sausage, bacon, egss, and seasoned potatoes;
and scheduled daily activities.
“We
wanted to heighten our guests’ experience during their stay,”
said Dellinger. “We now provide an Xbox gaming room, mid-week nightly wine and
cheese receptions, face painting, yoga classes, movies nights, and events
throughout the entire year for the entire family to enjoy.”
